Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Reassure Support ("we", "us", "our") is a sole trader operating in Queensland, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website at reassuresupport.services and the services we provide.

By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Location and suburb
  • Employment history, skills, and qualifications
  • NDIS Worker Screening Card and photo identification documents
  • NDIS Provider registration certificates
  • Support needs, conditions, and funding type (for participants)
  • Messages and enquiries submitted through our contact form
  • Account login credentials (stored in encrypted form)

We may also collect information automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for the purpose of maintaining site security and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Create and manage your account on the Reassure Support platform
  • Verify your identity and NDIS compliance status
  • Display your profile in our directory to other registered users
  • Respond to enquiries and provide support
  • Send transactional emails such as account verification and approval notifications
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our platform
  • Comply with our obligations under applicable Australian law

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.

3. Identity Document Verification

Support workers and providers are required to submit identity documents — including an NDIS Worker Screening Card or Provider Registration Certificate and a government-issued photo ID — as part of the profile registration process.

These documents are used solely to verify your identity and NDIS compliance status. They are stored securely and accessed only by authorised personnel at Reassure Support for compliance review purposes. Documents are not shared publicly or with other users of the platform.

An automated verification process is used to assist with document checking. This process does not make final decisions independently — all verifications are subject to human review.

4. Directory Profiles

When you create a profile on Reassure Support, the information you provide may be visible to other registered and verified users of the platform. You control what information you include in your profile.

Participant profiles are displayed with limited information to protect privacy — only your first name, suburb, and support preferences are shown. Contact details are never displayed publicly.

You may request removal of your profile at any time by contacting us at connect@reassuresupport.services.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss, including encryption of sensitive data and access controls.

We retain your personal information and uploaded documents for as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us directly.

6. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Where required or permitted by Australian law or a court order
  • To protect the safety of any person or to prevent fraud or illegal activity
  • With your explicit consent

7. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session and improve your experience. These are functional cookies necessary for the site to operate correctly. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information

Our platform is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
